About Me

Hi, I’m Erin—Founder and Occupational Therapist behind Equanimity Occupational Therapy (EOT). Thank you for taking the time to learn more about how I can support you or your loved one. Remember to check out the Resources page for free tools designed to compliment your journey.

I live in Geelong with my husband and two children. Our family enjoys spending time with our horses, dog, and chickens, gardening, and connecting with loved ones. These simple joys keep me grounded and inspire the care and compassion I bring to my work.

With over 20 years of experience in disability community services, I’ve supported people in many roles—from Home and Community Care Worker, Disability Support Worker to Support Coordinator, Accredited Trainer, and now Occupational Therapist. I’m also a proud volunteer Community Visitor for the Office of the Public Advocate, advocating for people living in supported accommodation to ensure they’re heard and respected.

In 2015, I graduated with distinction in a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy and have since loved working with children and adults across clinic, home, kinder, and school settings. I provide meaningful, activity-based therapy designed to help you reach your goals. I’m familiar with a range of funding options including TAC, WorkSafe, NDIS, Medicare, and VCEA.

My approach is deeply compassionate and individualised. I’m genuinely interested in people-their strengths, challenges and lived experiences. I’m especially passionate about supporting children alongside their families and communities, creating nurturing environments that help them grow. Children bring such joy and energy to therapy, and I love matching their enthusiasm with strategies that feel fun and achievable.

I also deeply value working with adults who are focused on making meaningful changes. Seeing progress that increases independence and quality of life is incredibly rewarding. I enjoy sharing knowledge, strengthening support networks, and facilitating long-term, practical outcomes.
